Idan works with HYPNOTHERAPY TRAINING INTERNATIONAL (HTI) on social media and running courses, among other things. He was so impressed by Dr. John Butler's approach to hypnotherapy that he ended up working with him! Here, he tells the story of how he came to try hypnotherapy, and how it helped him.
I came to Hypnotherapy Training International after thirteen years of struggling with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (also known as ME), fibromyalgia and IBS. In fact, I was housebound for two and a half years. During that time I tried nutrition, supplements, exercise, meditation, psychotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and extensive water fasting, among many other things. Many of them helped to some extent, but I felt that I was at best treading water. |
One of my main interests since my late teens is self-help and personal development. Alongside learning what hypnotherapy is, I realised that to succeed as a self-help ‘guru’, mentor or coach, a proper, in-depth training in hypnotherapy is of immense value to you. For hypnotherapy covers the full range of human intellectual and emotional functioning, particularly the level that is described as subconscious, as we are often not fully aware of it, and yet can become aware of it, especially in trance. The memories, beliefs and ideas which are active at this level can make or break your self-development and success in life, and the knowledgeable use of hypnosis can get these powerful elements of the mind to work for you and your clients.
